Corinne and Ali

Corrine and Ali exchanged vows in a beautiful, intimate ceremony at St Joseph's Guest House, nestled in the scenic Hawkesbury River area. Just in time for their special moment, the clouds parted and sunshine filled the day for this wonderful couple, who've shared their entire relationship under one roof.

Corrine and Ali's journey began at university, where they first crossed paths living in the same share house. Remarkably, during their initial year as housemates, they barely exchanged a word—mainly because Ali, originally from Iran, was still learning English. It was a shared holiday that eventually sparked their friendship, leading them to this day, four years later, celebrating their marriage.

Every detail of their wedding day was thoughtfully planned, styled, and created by Corrine, Ali, and their families. With heartfelt dedication, they handmade everything—from the delicious food, wedding cake, and ice cream, to the elegant table settings, bouquet, and decorations. Even the honey served alongside cheese on slate platters (crafted by the bride’s father) came from the couple’s own beehives. The same honey featured in a meaningful Persian wedding tradition during the ceremony, where the bride and groom dipped their pinky fingers in honey and fed it to one another, symbolising sweetness in their union.

Congratulations, Corrine and Ali! Wishing you endless happiness together and a wonderful honeymoon in Mexico!
